Dragon Claw Weapons
Introduction
With the Lindvior update, NC servers added the strongest weapons in history of Lineage 2. I made many thoughts if I should them on our server or not. Since I personally like the weapons, I decided to add them.
Moreover, because these weapons are that strong, I put in the high costs on purpose. So please don’t be scared, it may seem utopic in the first place. However, they just request it due to their power.
The Weapons
There are 4 type of levels of these weapons.
1) Fragment
2) Standard
3) High-grade
4) Top-grade
With each level, the weapons get stronger including their passive skills. Because these weapons are extremely strong, you cannot enchanted them. Neither can you use them in the Olympic Games. The fragment and standard weapons have no glow, high-grade and top-grade have a strong glow corresponding the colour of the dragons (Antharas = green, Valakas = red, Lindvior = blue).

High-grade: PvP damage +15%, Max. HP/MP/CP +30%, Atk./M. Spd. +300, P./M. Critical Rate +100, Added damage to dragons +100%
Top-grade: PvP damage +30%, HP/MP + 100%, CP +200%, Atk. Spd. +1500, M. Speed 1999, P./M. Critical Chance +500, Added damage to dragons +300%
How to get the Weapons?
I was looking for ways to add the weapons so that you use items that are somehow related to dragons. Therefore I’ve added Claws of Black Dragon Piece and Large Dragon Bone completely new drops within the Dragon Valley. On one side you need these items, on the other side you need currency items, even items as well as quest items. So I tried to build in a combination of that. Now go and fight against the subordinates of Antharas.
NEW: You can now farm these items from all monsters within the Forge of the Gods. Since this zone is meant for newbies, the chances are far below the chance from Dragon Valley or Antharas Lair.
NEW: You can now farm these items from all monsters within the Seed of Annihilation (SOA). Since this zone is meant for experienced Players only, the chances are slightly higher than in AL.

The legendary Dragon Messenger has arrived in Aden and Rune.

The fragment cannot be equipped?
It says "You do not meet the required condition to equip that item."

Which weapon is it?

Edit: It works, turns out you have to be level 85 to equip them. I'd have a question though, what kind of soulshots do they use?

1) Dropchance Large Dragon Bones
I implemented the weapons more than more a month ago so I had the chance to see how many items you could farm already. That’s the reason why I cut the dropchance of the Large Dragon Bone in half. But don’t become desperate all of a sudden because this is absolutely no problem. I calculated long enough and decided to take this average value in change. I realized that people don’t need that many Items. Even if you want to trade another weapon later, you have to farm Claws of Black Dragon Pieces again. And then the Large Dragon Bones will drop again too.
The adapted dropchance represents the ratio of the needed items much better now.
2) High-grade weapons available
The exchange list has been updated. You can now upgrade your standard weapons to high-grade weapons.
3) Elements possible
Because of discussions and the wish of players, I enabled elements on the weapons. You can now put elements on your Standard, High-grade und Top-grade weapons. Elements are still disabled at fragment weapons.
Important: You have to replace 1 specific file in your system folder in ordert o use that feature.

I feel like Large Dragon Bone drop is way too low now, I get 2-3 pieces per half hour on average. But maybe I'm just unlucky.

I think you're just unlucky ;) Since the reduction of the dropchance, I've gathered around 190 of them. I would say 1 every 3-4 minutes.

After due consideration, I've decided to decrease the costs for upgrading Standard to high-grade weapons. There are mainly two reasons for this:
1) You get basically just a bit more p. atk and m. atk
2) Mages have only use for Dragon weapons from the stage high-grade
Therefore I slightly reduced some of the ingredients

Hey, I feel like farming Token of Love is really unintuitive, since you either enchant for days to get it, which is basically clicking simulator, or you TvT, which you can only do with yourself. In my opinion it would be better if it could be farmed somehow, through a quest, or drop or spoil, so one could actually feel like they're doing something while getting those items. That's just my 2 cents though.

My clan member brought it to my attention that Kamael Doombringer cannot use his skills with the Lindvior Slasher. :( It says it's an Ancient Sword, but it acts as if it is a regular Two-handed sword. Change Weapon doesn't work on it either. This is important to me because the person stopped playing on the server because of this issue, but I'm sure he would come back if it was fixed.
Also, I'm curious, do Kamael Soul Hounds and Tricksters have no Dragon Claw Weapons available to them? Or can they Change Weapon a normal Sword/Bow of a Dragon Claw Weapon? I'm not familiar with the official version since Goddess of Destruction update, so I don't know how these weapons work.
I know I always point out these things, and I don't want to appear ungrateful. I know you put a lot of work into this server, and we really appreciate it. We like the server, that is why we play here!

I'd like to give you some important News about Topics discussed in this thread.
1) The top-grade Dragon weapons are available now. It took me longer since I couldn't adapt the files as I wished. It was a technical Problem with the Client.
2) You've probably seen that Token of Love can now be gathered from all Monsters in the game
3) Once more I'm astonished when I hear that your clan member left the Server. You know, I never hear These things. Players just leave without telling me why, whithout giving me Chance to "explain" something. I've experienced Players in the past that were angry because of a certain circumstance. But instead of discussing this Topic with me they just left. Maybe the way he know it was just a custom implementation. Anyway, back to the Topic.
It is true, the "slasher" weapons are regular 2 handed swords (https://l2wiki.com/Lindvior_Slasher_(Standard)) Check out the link, it says 2 handed sword. All Dragon weapons that exist as in the wiki shown were implementent by me. I have no other weapons to add, I'm sorry for that. He must stick to other normal weapons (ie not Dragon weapons). It is really the case, that they also do not exist on official Servers as you can see in the official wiki.
I could technically Change the weapon type "SWORD" to "ANCIENTSWORD" which would probably allow to use the kamael skills. But then a Titan class would have his Problems of using the weapon since it's an ancient sword only for kamaels. So once again, I added all available weapons, others do not exist...

Hi, I understand, and I also saw that Kamael weapons are not a part of dragon claw weapons in the official game either.

Antharas Avenger, the blunt gives the Increased damage to dragons passive, but it doesn't apply, meaning it doesn't actually increase the damage to dragons.
This can actually not be the case since all the weapons (of the same grade) have the same skills. I did not create a skill for every weapon. I just looked into the files, they are allright.
Antharas Fighter, the hand-to-hand weapon cannot be strenghtened with attribute stones.
Tested ingame, works fine for me

Claws of Black Dragon Piece: 130
Refined Red Dragon Blood: 1 < ---------- Especially interesting about these
Refined Blue Dragon Blood: 1 < ---------- Especially interesting about these
Large Dragon Bone: 75

Claws of Black Dragon Pieces + Large Dragon Bone can be farmed from all Mobs within Dragon Valley and Antharas lair. The stronger the Mobs, the higher the Chance. So there is a tendency of higher chances the deeper you go into antharas lair.
The Dragon Bloods can be gathered through the quest "Refined Dragon Blood". This quest can be obtained through the NPC Separate Soul in Hunters Village and in some spots in Dragon Valley and Antharas Lair

First post updated.
From today on, all Monsters within the Forge of the Gods have a chance to drop "Claws of Black Dragon Piece" and "Large Dragon Bone". However, because their level is lower and their strength is clearly below the ones from Dragon Valley and Antharas Lair, the dropchance is far lower. This farming zone is meant for newer players that have not yet the capability to farm the items inside DV / AL but who are interested in these weapons 8)

From tomorrow on, you can farm "Claws of Black Dragon Piece" and "Large Dragon Bone" from all Monsters inside the Seed of Annihilation (SOA). The chance is slightly higher in comparison to the monsters in AL because they are slightly stronger

Hi,
if I can make a suggestion, adding Gemstone S as well to Forge of Gods and Seed of Annihilation would make them an even more viable place to farm, in my opinion. :)

I thought about that myself already. But I don't want to do that for the moment. I am currently working ond bigger Projects, maybe current Things will change too a bit. Seperate post will follow.
