Christmas event

From the 24th of december 2022 until january 22nd of 2023 our yearly christmas event takes place. The following features are active.

• Collect Christmas items from all monster withing the game and exchange them for rewards at santa.
• The luxury edition of the Merchant of Mammon is in all towns. You can buy items without being registered in the Seven Signs.
• Spread across the whole world, 45 santa clauses are hidden. Find them and gain prizes (for every 5 santa = 1 prize). It is necessary to place yourself next to the NPC and make a screenshot. At the end of the event you may send a mail to staff@lin2century.ch.

Note about the hidden santa clauses They are not located in towns, castles, fortresses, catacombs or instances.

Weihnachtsevent

Vom 24. Dezember 2022 bis 22. Januar 2023 findet unser diesjähriger Weihnachtsevent statt. Folgende Features sind zur zeit aktiv.

• Sammle Weihnachtsitems von allen Monstern im Spiel und tausche sie gegen Belohnungen beim Weihnachtsmann ein.
• Die Luxusvariante des Merchant of Mammon ist in allen Städten. Du kannst Items kaufen ohne dich bei Seven Signs registrieren zu müssen.
• Verteilt in der ganzen Welt sind 45 Weihnachtsmänner versteckt. Finde sie und gewinne Preise (pro 5 Weihnachtsmänner = 1 Preis). Hierzu ist es nötig, dass du dich neben den NPC stellst und ein Bild machst. Diese schickst du am Ende des Events an staff@lin2century.ch.

Hinweis zu den versteckten Weihnachtsmännern. Sie befinden sich nicht in Städten, in Burgen, Festungen, Katakomben oder Instanzen.

Server Rules

Please take your time to read the server rules. By registering & playing on the server, you automatically agree to the server rules. Ignorance of the rules does not absolve from responsibility for their violation. The administration has the right to change the rules any time. In that case you will be informed about the changes.

The creator of the account is responsible for any violations to the server rules, regardless of who performs them by using the account. Everyone is responsible for their own items. The staff will not retrieve any lost items unless it’s a server fault that affected many players.

Gameplay Rules

Multibox play is allowed for each player

It is forbidden:

• To use software or equipment that emulates the presence of a player or automates game processes.
• To use software or hardware that interferes with the normal operation of the server or any modifying the game client.
• To exploit game bugs of any sort. If a player finds a bug it is expected to inform immediately the server administration.
• To buy or sell game values (ex. Items, Adena, Characters) or services (ex. Xping and PvP-protection) for real currency.
• It is forbidden to impersonate an administration representative on the game server, discord server, forum, etc. Moreover, insults or disrespect of the administration is prohibited.
• To make racist, pornographic, menacing or other alike statements in the chat.
• To attack a raid group. (A single person running around to occupy a raid until his group arrives is no group)
• To ask a staff member for Adena or items.
• To make any publicity for other servers.

Account Rules

• Actions aimed at inciting hatred or enmity based on gender, race, nationality, religion or membership in any social group are prohibited.
• Unauthorized access to other people's accounts is prohibited.
• Threats of violence or physical harm outside the game are prohibited.
• Sharing personal or account information to others is prohibited.
• Selling or buying accounts to or from others is prohibited.

Server Regeln

Bitte nimm dir die Zeit die Serverregeln zu lesen. Durch deine Registrierung und das Spielen auf dem Server stimmst du diesen automatisch zu. Die Unkenntnis der Regeln entbindet nicht von der Verantwortung für deren Verletzung. Die Serverleitung hat das Recht diese jederzeit anzupassen. In diesem Fall wirst du von uns über Änderungen informiert.

Der Ersteller eines Accounts ist für alle Verletzungen der Serverregeln verantwortlich unabhängig davon wer ihn zu diesem Zeitpunkt benutzt hat. Jedermann ist für seine Items selber verantwortlich. Die Serverleitung gibt keine verlorengegangenen Items zurück es sei denn es handle sich um einen Serverfehler von dem viele Spieler betroffen sind.

Gameplay Regeln

Multiboxing ist für alle Spieler erlaubt

Es ist verboten:

• Software oder Geräte zu verwenden die die Anwesenheit eines Spielers vortäuscht oder die Spielprozesse automatisiert.
• Software oder Hardware zu verwenden welche den normalen Betrieb des Servers stört und das modifizieren des game clients.
• Bugs jeglicher Art auszunutzen. Wenn ein Spieler einen Bug findet ist die Erwartung, dass er diesen der Serverleitung meldet.
• Das Kaufen oder Verkaufen von Spielinhalten (z.B. Items, Adena, Charaktere) oder Services (z.B. Xping and PvP-Schutz) für echtes Geld.
• Sich als jemanden der Serverleitung auszugeben egal ob auf dem Server, Discord Server, Forum etc. Zudem ist es untersagt die Serverleitung zu beleidigen.
• Rassistische, pornografische, bedrohende oder ähnliche Aussagen im Chat zu machen.
• Eine Raidgruppe anzugreifen (eine einzelne Person die im Kreis rennt um den Raid zu beschäftigen zählt nicht als Gruppe).
• Die Serverleitung nach Adena oder Items zu fragen.
• Werbung für andere Server zu machen.

Account Regeln

• Handlungen, die darauf abzielen, Hass oder Feindschaft aufgrund von Geschlecht, Rasse, Nationalität, Religion oder Zugehörigkeit zu einer sozialen Gruppe zu schüren, sind verboten.
• Dir unerlaubt Zugriff auf fremde Accounts zu verschaffen ist verboten.
• Die Androhung von Gewalt ausserhalb des Spiels ist verboten.
• Das Teilen von persönlichen Accountinformationen mit anderen ist verboten.
• Das Kaufen oder Verkaufen von Accounts an andere ist verboten.

Hello everyone

As you have maybe already read, Lin2Century now has an official Discord Server for you! A big thank you to Stygian. He helped us setting up, adding a lot of guides and promoting the server. Therefore he has now the new rank "Advanced User" in the forum!

Joining our discord server is a good oppurtunity if you wanna talk about the game or anything else. If you need help or advice or if you just have questions about the server itself. Every new member needs to be verified by us since we do not want fake players or bots on our server. The activation goes the same way in the forum. Contact us on the discord of via mail (staff@lin2century.ch) to get your forum account activated.

Enchant system

Our enchant system has been remodelled. It is based on the principle of “the safer the scroll, the lower its chance”. By safe I mean that there are scrolls with higher chances than others.

General
Safe = 3
Max = 30

Available scrolls

Normal weapon & armor enchant scrolls

• Chances: See chart below
• Grades: D, C, B, A, S and R grade
• Enchant levels: From 1 to 30
• Fail enchant: Weapon gets crystallized

Blessed weapon & armor enchant scrolls

• Chances: Same as normal scrolls
• Grades: D, C, B, A, S and R grade
• Enchant levels: From 1 to 30
• Fail enchant: The enchant level gets reset to 0

Ancient weapon & armor enchant scrolls

• Chances: 20% lower chance compared to the normal scrolls
• Grades: B, A, S and R grade
• Enchant levels: From 1 to 16
• Fail enchant: The enchant level remains the same

Divine weapon & armor enchant scrolls

• Chances: 100% success rate
• Grades: B, A, S and R grade
• Enchant levels: From 1 to 30

Chances in general
The higher the enchant level, the lower the chance of success. The enchant chances for armor/jewellery is higher than for a weapon.

All stats from Dark & Bloody Helios weapons and the necessary items to upgrade them have been modified as follows.
This is to make these weapons more attractive to players and to offer a cheaper alternative to dragon/shadow weapons.

• P.Atk. / M. Atk +65% (enchanted up to +30 they have a bit more P. Atk / M. Atk than stage 2 dragon/shadow weapons
• PvP / PvE Damage increased by 5% = 15% bonus now
• HP/MP incrased by 25% = 45% bonus now
• CP incrased by 20% = 60% bonus now
• Atk.Spd increased by 325 = 475 Atk. Spd bonus now
• Casting spd increased by 400 = 550 Casting spd bonus now
• P. Crit / M. Crit rate increased by 25 = 75 P. Crit / M. Crit bonus ofnow

Upgrade at NPC

• Fame was reduced by 20'000 = 40'000 Fame needed now
• Token of Love increased by 1'175 = 1'650 Token of Love needed now
• Energy of destruction increased by 2'575 = 2'800 Energy of destruction needed now

Note: This was done in october last year already (see changelog). I just posted it in a forum not visible for you guys. Shame on me

Minor Update

Part 1 – Enchant system

Our enchant system has been remodelled. It is based on the principle of “the safer the scroll, the lower its chance”. By safe I mean that there are scrolls with higher chances than others. But why the changes? To make it more challenging and interesting for players.

A) Safe enchant
The safe enchant was reduced from 7 to 3. Maximum enchant level remains at 30.

B) Available scrolls

Normal weapon & armor enchant scrolls

• Chances: See chart below
• Grades: D, C, B, A, S and R grade
• Enchant levels: From 1 to 30
• Fail enchant: Weapon gets crystallized

Blessed weapon & armor enchant scrolls

• Chances: Same as normal scrolls
• Grades: D, C, B, A, S and R grade
• Enchant levels: From 1 to 30
• Fail enchant: The enchant level gets reset to 0

Ancient weapon & armor enchant scrolls

• Chances: 20% lower chance compared to the normal scrolls
• Grades: B, A, S and R grade
• Enchant levels: From 1 to 16
• Fail enchant: The enchant level remains the same

Divine weapon & armor enchant scrolls

• Chances: 100% success rate
• Grades: B, A, S and R grade
• Enchant levels: From 1 to 30

C) Chances in general
The chances were changed for weapons & armors/jewelleries. The higher the enchant level, the lower the chance of success. The enchant chances for armor/jewellery is higher than for a weapon.





D) Others

• The item “Enchant Scroll Box 1 & 2” no longer contain normal weapon enchant scrolls
• The chances to get an ancient or divine enchant scroll out of the “Enchant Scroll Box 1 & 2” has been slightly reduced
• Enchant Armor & Weapon R-grade scrolls can now be spoiled in the following areas: Dragon Valley, Antharas’ Lair, Seed of Annihilation. This measure should give more weight to spoiler classes

New PvP / PK event

A while ago a new NPC was introduced. He shows you the current ranking of your PvPs and PKs in game. He was kind of the preparation of what follows now. Here.

The idea of this new concept is on one hand to promote PvP and on the other hand to offer you a new way to gain fame. On the basis of a predefined list, you will receive rewards depending on your count. At the same time a new item is introduced, the “PvP/PK Coin”. This is the only way to achieve these coins. You can later on exchange other rewards with it. Details will follow.

Outright all PvPs and PKs will be reset to 0. This makes it even and fair for all to begin with. The reward system is active from 02:00 o'clock after the regular server restart.


The rewards for the amount of PvPs or PKs are as follows. PKs give 10% more fame because there is the Risk of losing Equipment when getting killed while having Karma!

Neuer PvP / PK Event

Vor einiger Zeit wurde euch ein neuer NPC vorgestellt. Er zeigt die Rangliste aller PvPs und PKs im Spiel. Er war sozusagen die Vorbereitung für das was jetzt folgt. Hier.

Die Überlegung dieses Konzept liegt darin das PvP etwas zu fördern und andererseits eine neue Möglichkeit zu geben an Fame zu gelangen. Anhand einer vordefinierten Liste erhältst du je nach Anzahl PvP oder PK eine Belohnung. Zugleich wird ein neues Item vorgestellt, der «PvP/PK Coin». Er kann nur so gesammelt werden. Er kann später in Belohnungen umgetauscht werden. Die Details folgen noch.

Per sofort werden alle aktuell vorhanden PvPs und PKs auf 0 gesetzt. So haben alle die gleiche, faire Ausgangslage. Die Belohnungen sind ab 02:00 Uhr Nachts, nach dem Neustart des Servers aktiv.


Die Belohnungen für die jeweiligen Anzahl an erreichten PvPs oder PKs. PKs geben 10% mehr Fame weil dort das Risiko besteht Ausrüstung zu verlieren wenn man mit Karma stirbt!

Wie es der Name schon impliziert handelt es hier um einen Luxus Teleporter. Viele wichtige und interessante Teleportpunkte wurden hinterlegt, die dir das reisen bequem aus jeder Stadt ermöglichen. Die Kosten sind in jeder Kategorie ersichtlich.
Wichtig ist zu sagen, dass alle jetzigen Teleports davon nicht betroffen sind. Sie sind weiterhin erhältlich und können zu den gleichen Preisen benutzt werden.

Was kann der neue NPC?

Du kannst entweder nur dich selber teleportieren wie du es kennst. Neu habt ihr aber auch die Möglichkeit sogar eure ganze Party oder sogar den Command Channel zu teleportieren! Dazu müssen aber alle Charaktere die teleportiert werden sollen innerhalb der Reichweite zum Partyleader / Command Channel Leader sein. Aktuell habe ich diese auf 250 eingestellt.




Welche Teleports gibt es?

• Towns (85'000 – 130’000 Adena)
• Catacombs / Necropolises (400’000 Adena) *
• Hunting Grounds Level 8 – 30 (100’000 Adena)
• Hunting Grounds Level 31 – 50 (150’000 Adena)
• Hunting Grounds Level 51 – 76 (300’000 Adena)
• Hunting Grounds Level 77 – 85 (500’000 Adena)
• Bossraids (5’000’000 Adena) *
• PvP Zones (50’000 Adena)
• Other Zones (20’000 Adena)

*Die Teleporte führen nie IN Instanzen/Dungeons sondern nur davor. Das heisst, dass du für Seven Signs nach wie vor angemeldet sein musst. Für Bossraids brauchst du nach wie vor die Quests.

Luxury Teleporter
 




As the name implies it is a luxury teleporter. Many important and interesting teleports were added in order to travel conveniently from every time. The costs are apparent in every category when speaking to the NPC.
Necessary is to say that all current teleports are not affected by this. Thy are still available and ready to use for the same prices.

What is the new NPC capable of?

You can teleport only yourself as you know it. However, you now have the option to teleport your whole party or even your whole command channel as well! Therefore, all characters must be within the respective range to the party leader / command channel leader. Right now, I have set the range to 250.





Which teleports are available?

• Towns (85'000 – 130’000 Adena)
• Catacombs / Necropolises (400’000 Adena) *
• Hunting Grounds Level 8 – 30 (100’000 Adena)
• Hunting Grounds Level 31 – 50 (150’000 Adena)
• Hunting Grounds Level 51 – 76 (300’000 Adena)
• Hunting Grounds Level 77 – 85 (500’000 Adena)
• Bossraids (5’000’000 Adena) *
• PvP Zones (50’000 Adena)
• Other Zones (20’000 Adena)

* The teleports never lead you INTO instances/dungeons but rather in front of them. That means that you still need to participate in the seven signs in order to enter the catacombs/necropolises. As for the bossraids you still need the quests.

Dieser NPC zeigt dir immer aktuell die PvP und PK Rangliste. Es werden die besten 25 Spieler gezeigt. Für die Zukunft ist angedacht, dass Spieler anhand ihres Ranges / ihrer Anzahl PvP/PK belohnt werden (beispielsweise mit persönlichen Reputation Punkten). Sollte das umgesetzt werden, werdet ihr wieder von mir informiert.



Die Liste aktualisiert sich alle 5 Minuten automatisch von selbst.

This NPC shows you the current ranking in PvP and PK. The best 25 players are shown in the list. For the future I think about adding a reward system for players depending on their PvP/PK stats (for instance with personal reputation points). If this is really thing, you will hear fromm e as soon as it is definitive.



The lists refresh itself every 5 minutes automatically.

As previously announced, a lottery now takes place on LinIICentury! 

How does it work?
The numbers 1 to 5 are available. You can choose any order you want (a total of 153 combinations are possible). You can submit 15 tips in total. I will draw the lottery combination with a dice. Depending on how many numbers you got right, you get different prices (cumulative).

2 numbers correct (following each other) = 3000 Personal Reputation Points
3 numbers correct (following each other) = 500 Gemstones R-Grade
4 numbers correct (following each other) = Cloak of your choice
5 numbers correct (following each other) = Jewellery of your choice

It doesn’t matter if the correct numbers are at the beginning, in the middle or at the end. The order does matter.
Example: Let’s say I draw the numbers 53412 and you chose the numbers 45535, 35123, 32413 etc.

You would win 3x the reward for 2 correct numbers.

Every person can tip once. You want to participate? Just response to this topic and insert your 15 tips. I will draw the winning number combination on december 31.

Wie funktioniert es?
Die Zahlen 1 bis 5 sind möglich. Du kannst jede Kombination wählen die du willst (total gibt es 153 mögliche Kombinationen). Du kannst 15 Tips abgeben. Die Gewinnerzahl werde ich mit einem Würfel ziehen. Je nachdem wieviele Zahlen du richtig getippt hast, desto bessere Preise bekommst du (kumulativ).

2 Zahlen korreckt (in der richtigen Reihenfolge) = 3000 persönliche Reputation Punkte
3 Zahlen korreckt (in der richtigen Reihenfolge) = 500 Gemstones R-Grad
4 Zahlen korreckt (in der richtigen Reihenfolge) = Cloak deiner Wahl
5 Zahlen korreckt (in der richtigen Reihenfolge) = Schmuck deiner Wahl

Es spielt dabei keine Rolle ob die richtigen Zahlen am Anfang, in der Mitte oder am Schluss sind. Entscheiden ist nur die Reihenfolge.
Beispiel: Nehmen wir an ich ziehe die Zahlen 53412 und du hast folgende getippt: 45535, 35123, 32413 etc.

Du würdest also 3x den Gewinn für 2 richtige Zahlen bekommen.

Jede Person kann 1x mitmachen. Willst du mitmachen? Dann antworte einfach auf diesen Beitrag und gib deine 5 Tips ab. Die Gewinnzahl wird am 31. Dezember gezogen.

Was ist neu?
Um den Seed of Annihilation für Spieler attraktiver zu gestalten, haben alle drei Bosse neue, zusätzliche Drops bekommen.
Zudem gibt die Quest "Not strong enough alone" auch neue Belohnungen (siehe auch hier http://lin2century.ch/forum/index.php?topic=2946.0)


Wer sind die Bosse?
Der Seed of Annihilation ist in drei Gegenden aufgeteilt. Diese sind Bistakon, Reptilikon und Kokracon. Die Namen der Bosse sind:

• Taklacan (Bistakon)
• Torumba (Reptilikon)
• Dopagen (Kokracon)
