Der hopzone vote wurde repariert. Es kann wieder gevotet werden :)

Seems a lot of things to catch up on server! I didnt even remember all my characters ^^'

Hello Stygian

I was happy to read your message. Glad you found the way back to us  8)

The problem of the installation is really a pain and many others had it too. There is a simple way to solve it.

1. Use Windows + R and type in cmd. Start it in administration mode.
2. Change the path to where you want it to be installed (for instance "cd /D YOUR PATH"), hit enter
3. Drag your l2.exe inside your commando line and hit enter. then it will install the client in the path you want.

Been a while since i was here.
I hope that everyone is in good health, in these troubled times.

I am thinking of casually play and return to the server but there seems to be a problem running the installation.
Windows is blocking setup: 'This app has been blocked for your protection.' I tried several things to fix that like virus scan, run it as admin but still the same problem
The updater runs just fine.

I would some help to manage the setup as i would like to log back in for the good old memories.

Just to inform you. The vote of hopzone is not working since a while. Other servers are experiencing the same. They had a fire in their server room so far (so I heard) and are still fixing it. Not our fault  ;)

Nur um euch zu informieren. Voten auf hopzone funktioniert seit einer Weile nicht. Andere Server haben das gleiche Problem. Scheinbar gab es ein Feuer im Serverraum und brauchen immer noch Zeit das wieder in Ordnung zu bringen.

Enchant system

Our enchant system has been remodelled. It is based on the principle of “the safer the scroll, the lower its chance”. By safe I mean that there are scrolls with higher chances than others.

General
Safe = 3
Max = 30

Available scrolls

Normal weapon & armor enchant scrolls
  • Chances: See chart below
  • Grades: D, C, B, A, S and R grade
  • Enchant levels: From 1 to 30
  • Fail enchant: Weapon gets crystallized

Blessed weapon & armor enchant scrolls
  • Chances: Same as normal scrolls
  • Grades: D, C, B, A, S and R grade
  • Enchant levels: From 1 to 30
  • Fail enchant: The enchant level gets reset to 0

Ancient weapon & armor enchant scrolls
  • Chances: 20% lower chance compared to the normal scrolls
  • Grades: B, A, S and R grade
  • Enchant levels: From 1 to 16
  • Fail enchant: The enchant level remains the same

Divine weapon & armor enchant scrolls
  • Chances: 100% success rate
  • Grades: B, A, S and R grade
  • Enchant levels: From 1 to 30
Chances in general
The higher the enchant level, the lower the chance of success. The enchant chances for armor/jewellery is higher than for a weapon.
