Part 3 – Grandboss strengthening

The stats of the grandbosses have been reworked. With the introduction of higher level / stronger weapons than ordinary S84 weapons, it has become (way) too easy to fight and kill grandbosses. Therefore I decided to strengthen them. It simply gives you more challenge and fun on one hand and tanks and healers become more important as well on the other hand.



A) Which grandbosses have been reworked?

• Queen Ant
• Core
• Orfen
• Baium
• Valakas
• Scarlet van Halisha
• Antharas
• Baylor
• Tiat
• Freya (incl. Glakias)

B) How are they strenghtened?

I won't tell you the details However, I can say that I did not just simply increase all stats at the same level. I went through all the grandbosses stats individually and made some tests to see how much improvement they need. Some have simply more HP or more Defense. Other have all stats increased etc.

Ps Little adjustement later are still possible if I get more feedback.



Part 4 – Grandboss status

We added a new feature for you to see if a grandboss is alive or not. If a grandboss is dead, it will also show you the date and time of its respawn. There are two ways to use it:

• By typing in new custom command ".grandboss"
• By talking to the Ancient statue NPC --> information.

All stats from Dark & Bloody Helios weapons and the necessary items to upgrade them have been modified as follows.
This is to make these weapons more attractive to players and to offer a cheaper alternative to dragon/shadow weapons.

• P.Atk. / M. Atk +65% (enchanted up to +30 they have a bit more P. Atk / M. Atk than stage 2 dragon/shadow weapons
• PvP / PvE Damage increased by 5% = 15% bonus now
• HP/MP incrased by 25% = 45% bonus now
• CP incrased by 20% = 60% bonus now
• Atk.Spd increased by 325 = 475 Atk. Spd bonus now
• Casting spd increased by 400 = 550 Casting spd bonus now
• P. Crit / M. Crit rate increased by 25 = 75 P. Crit / M. Crit bonus ofnow

Upgrade at NPC

• Fame was reduced by 20'000 = 40'000 Fame needed now
• Token of Love increased by 1'175 = 1'650 Token of Love needed now
• Energy of destruction increased by 2'575 = 2'800 Energy of destruction needed now

Note: This was done in october last year already (see changelog). I just posted it in a forum not visible for you guys. Shame on me

Part 2 – Master of Enchants Yogi

Because of the changes in the current enchant system it was only logical to adapt changes to Yogi as well.

• The safe enchant was reduced from 7 to 3
• The price for 1 Staff of Yogi was increased by 2'000'000 Adena
• The preenchanted Yogi Staff (+7) was removed from the game
• New maximum enchant level is 16
• The chances are similar to normal weapon enchant scrolls

• Yogi has new rewards. On one side high end items should not be accessible in a simple enchant event. On the other side new players now have a way easier way to access S/S80/S84 grade armor and weapons.
