Every mob on Lin2Century has a chance to drop the so called "Lin2Century Letter" and every letter has the same chance to be dropped.

Collect as many letters as you can and exchange them at our Ancient Totem Statue NPC. He gives you an item that contains several items. The process of getting an item is random. Below you can find a list which item gives you which reward (in alphabetical order). To make it exciting, I wont tell you the chances

A lot of times I open a chest and it says "there was nothing found inside" - this happens almost half the time. I'm just curious if this is intentional, or a bug?

Yes, this is normal and not a bug. The items have a chronology in which they are given to Players. That means it will first check the items with the highest Chance and then descening to others. Even the highest chance is far from 100%. So yes that was done by Intention.

1) I was interested in cloaks (Such as Wizard's Cloak, Warrior's Cloak). Could you add pictures (what do these coats look like) and what bonuses do they give?
2) I understand that this is random, but What is the chance of the drop of RB jewelery (Such as Ring of Beleth, Necklace of Valakas etc) and scrolls of transformation (Such as Transformation Scroll Anakim)?

To your questions:

1) My guide for the class cloaks will follow in the guide section including Pictures of course. Be a bit more Patient please

2) Well i actually don't want to tell you the chances. There are 2 reasons for this. It takes away the fun of not knowing what you get And on the other Hand, it may frustrate you or you could dislike it when you know it. And if you start to "calculate" and making hypotheses, doesn't it take the fun a bit?  What I can say is that the stronger the items in a box, the lower the Chance obviously.

Hello,

since the new update (which gave a lot of new content for sure), when I'm opening the "II YEARS" chests, sometimes I get a Long Sword (the no-grade 1 handed sword).

Maybe there was a typo in an item ID for the reward?

I haven't tested the other chests.

The rewards have been updated. Since all Letters and Digits were made new with a proper description I replaced all "old" ones in the database so there you will only find the new ones in your inventory.

Reward list updated. All Soul- & Spiritshot, Giant's Codex - Discipline and Transformation Scrolls were removed from the rewards.

The letter collector event has been revised.



1) New items were added (you can find an up to date list above)
2) The chances to get an item have been increased
3) The system itself has been revised. It is now possible to get multiple items (depending on the chance) from a word!

Before: Each word gave you 1 item. While calculating the chances, obviously the item with the highest chance came first. Therefore the chance was low to get items with lower chances.
New: As before, each item has its own chance. However, the calculation if you get rewarded with an item is done for each item in the reward list. Meaning that you could theoretically be rewarded with every item with 1 word.
